An investigation in the art and myths of ancient Greece & Rome

Featuring exhibition panels from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Made possible by a grant from the Council For the Arts of Herndon

We have invited a group of artists to exhibit specific works that relate to both the subject material and to the region around the Mediterranean. In fact several works have been painted especially because of the interest in the theme of mythology. We know that you will enjoy joining us on a trip to the ancient world with at least one eye on its meaning to contemporary times.
